Before the parliament began, the team I was with were sitting down at a restaurant where we met these two gals named Diana and Harmony, who were having a meal next to us. Somehow, we started getting into a conversation with them, and it turned out Diana was a Catholic Nun. Harmony was there to support her friend. Diana told us that she was giving a talk called Lectio Divina. Lydia stated she would be there, and I was curious about it as well.
Today's society talks about how each person has their own truth and how different paths can lead you to God. The fact is not all of them can be true. This blog dives into beliefs, religions, and what the Bible says.
Conversations With Quaseem
Within the vendor room, there was an array of booths from almost every religion. My friend Lydia and I walked around to one of the booths, where we met a Muslim, whose name was Qaseem.
I noticed at the booth, that there was a banner stating how Jesus was one of their prophets. They also had Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, and David listed. From what I knew prior about the Islamic faith, it would be weird that Jesus was listed on a banner. Lydia and I proceeded to walk over and started a conversation with him.
Dillon
As I was walking through all the booths, I ran into this man named Dillon. Usually at the psychic fairs, there are a few religious booths. This booth I walked up to, I had seen before in the past, but Dillon was different because I had never seen him at the fairs before. We started chatting, and he stated, “All paths lead to the same destination. It doesn’t matter what path I take, and it doesn’t matter what path you take. We both will end up in the same place.”
When Prayer Doesn't Work - Seminar
When I saw the description for this seminar, I was curious to find out what this talk was about. The description (see below) stated prayer might be limited.
