Usually being at a psychic fair there are usually different booths usually religious booths, vendors selling different things like crystals or even beauty products, tarot card readers and just various things. This recent one that I went to was different because there was more vendor booths and only one religious booth. I ended up talking to this gal named Sarah.
Sarah was apart of this new group that was established in 2013, and as she explained, what they believe is our souls were in the 5th dimension, which is basically paradise, but our souls got bored being up there so they decided to come down to the 3rd dimension (which is where we are now) to gain experience. Now, according to her, our souls signed contracts that had a checklist of things that they wanted to experience. For example: if a soul wanted to experience being in the workforce, maybe owning a home and having two kids, well then, that soul signed up for that. As she also explained the soul also signs up for bad as well. If someone was convicted of a crime or even was a victim of a crime then well that soul signed up for that to gain experience on how it feels to be a victim or a suspect in a criminal case. As she continued talking, she then explained that the group uses energy to help connect people to their higher/future selves. She also explained that we as humans need to forgo listening to our brains because the brain is filled with ego and just tells our body to function but that we need to listen to our heart. I asked her what would happen if my brain and my heart were at odds with one another. Sarah stated that it would be wise to listen to your inner body because that is what truly knows. After some more conversation I said goodbye and left.
The Truth of the Matter:
Alright so we have a gal that believes our souls were bored in the 5th dimension and signed up to experience good and evil within the 3rd dimension. Not just the good but also choose to experience the worst within humanity. Also, that we should be listening to our hearts and not our brains.
When it comes to not listen to our heads but to listen to our hearts the Bible makes it very clear. Jerimiah 17:9 states “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick; who can understand it?” Ecclesiastes 9:3 states “This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that the same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.” Matthew 15:18-19 states, “But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.” We should not be trusting our hearts because they are so deceitful.
Now the other thing that Sarah said was that our souls signed up for experiences to have here on the earth. Now entertain me here, if this is true then our souls are predestined. Meaning that we have chosen what kind of life we are supposed to live. That means some are predestined to go to prison, some are predestined to be victims, go to school, get doctorate degrees the list goes on and on because, according to Sarah, they signed up for it. Now the problem I have with this is that I don’t think that there is a predestination.
If predestination existed then why would 1 Timothy 2:1-4 state “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” 2 Peter 3:9b states “Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” If predestination existed then God would not want everyone to be saved. Which also contradicts what the gospel is. John 3:16-17 states “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” Luke 15:3-7 states “Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
He wants the whole world to be saved and he doesn’t give up on us, and we should never give up on people either, but the thing is God gave us free will to choose him or to reject him. In the end it’s our choice.
