Before diving into the events and seminars at this event, I wanted to take some time to explain what this event is about and some background. It cannot be very clear at times as to why the seminars and some of the people I had conversations with seem to not make sense at times.
Since this is a mesh of multiple backgrounds and beliefs put together. When I was at the Parliament of World Religions, I found this flyer that shows how paganism and witchcraft overlap each other and even the differences because they do differ and have similarities. Now, a lot of the time at these events, especially Paganicon, you will see a combination of all of these different practices and combine them into one event. On the pagan side, the Nordic, Irish, Druids, and even some Greek. From the Witchcraft side, the new-age, green, kitchen, and Wicca. There is also a mix with the ADR as well.
Now, with Paganicon, there are seminars, rituals, vendors, and even party suites throughout it. The seminars change every year (which we will get into more), and so do the people in the party suites. These party suites are for different organizations and people who need a quiet place to be or even talk to people about who they are and what they believe in a more personal way.
Like I said before, this is taking everything within that paganism circle and the witchcraft circle and combining them into one event that lasts for 3 days.
